Inflatable Pools

Inflatable pools can be a valuable investment for your above ground pool choices, as they provide a convenient and flexible way to add the benefits of a swimming pool to your backyard. Inflatable pools come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and are easy to install and maintain. Some inflatable pools are equipped and installed with a steel frame for sturdier construction. They can be encased in a hard vinyl layer for added protection, and are held together within a steel frame to maintain their shape. Wading inflatable pools may be just filled with air, and range in family size pools to individual whirlpool style seating areas.

Most inflatable pools are designed as wading pools and light use. Many children’s pools and play pools fall into this category, and offer extended features such as removable shades, pool slides, and even pool toys. It can be very simple to install these temporary pools in a backyard, driveway, or other garden area for immediate enjoyment.

Installation is a very simple process. The pool will need to be laid out on a flat surface, and inflated up to the collar before filling with water. Many pools are outfitted with a self adjusting collar that floats to the top when the pool is inflated to capacity. Inflatable pools are made with a heavy duty, superior grade vinyl material that can be used for more than one season. Many inflatable pools also come as a complete package, equipped with a pool pump, supplies for inflation, and even a warranty.

Cleaning an inflatable pool is easy with a simple pool vacuum and cleaning agents. Inflatable pools can also accommodate a standard filter and pump to allow for easy and clean water throughout the pool’s use. Filters and pumps can be used for both inflatable and metal frame set swimming pools, and need to be changed approximately every two to three weeks depending on usage. Pool cleaners may include a pool vacuum or a quick drain accessory. These cleaners simply need to be connected to a water hose to start working and cleaning easily and efficiently.

Many inflatable pools can be assembled right out of the box. The liners are supported by an inflatable top ring, and the pools can be used year after year. Most of these pools do not require sand, and can be easily drained with a convenient drain plug. If you can’t afford to install a permanent pool in your home or backyard, an inflatable pool can be a valuable alternative. These pools take just a few minutes to inflate; and can be very durable and long lasting.
